The Leader of the Sokoto State Hajj Delegation and Honourable Minister of Labour and Productivity, Alhaji Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, has inspected facilities at the Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Hajj Terminal, Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto.
According to the Head of Information and Communications of the Commission, Faruku Umar, during the inspection, the delegation assessed the level of preparedness and the condition of facilities put in place to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj operation for intending pilgrims from the state.
The delegation leader, who was accompanied by other members, was received and briefed by the Chairman of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Aliyu Musa, alongside the management of Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto.
The briefing focused on operational readiness, logistics arrangements, and measures taken to enhance the comfort and safety of pilgrims.
The inspection underscores the commitment of the Sokoto State Government to ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for a hitch-free Hajj exercise.
